Corns and Titans shut out Symmes Valley and earn win, 6-0

CJ Corns didn’t allow a single run as Notre Dame Titans defeated Symmes Valley 6-0 on Monday. Corns allowed just four hits and struck out the final batter to end the game.

An early lead helped propel Notre Dame to victory. The  Titans took the lead on a single in the first inning.

Notre Dame captured the lead in the first inning after scoring one run when CJ Corns singled with two outs in the first inning.

A single by Symmes in the second inning was one of the fews positives for Symmes Valley.

Notre Dame collected seven hits. Drew Cassidy and Tyler Speas each collected multiple hits for Notre Dame Titans. Speas and Cassidy each managed two hits to lead the Titans. Notre Dame was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error.
