Titans last second shot sinks Symmes Valley Vikings, 46-45.

The Titans were playing their 3rd game in 4 days as the visiting Symmes Valley Vikings came to town Friday night. In a game that seemed as though the Vikings had an answer on every possession, the Titans found a way late to get the win. Coach Mader’s Titans would struggle to find the bottom of the basket and would not take the lead until the 3:41 mark in the 4th quarter after a made basket by Isiah Johnson. With 15 seconds remaining in the game, Symmes Valley guard would drive to the rim and lay it up putting the Vikings back up 45-44. Junior guard, Trevon Turner had other plans, as he would rush the ball up court and drive the lane, hitting his shot with 3 seconds remaining that would send the Titans to their 15th win of the season.

Notre Dame (15-4, 9-3 SOC) look to wrap up a 2 game homestand and their 4th game in 5 days as they face New Boston tonight in a make up game from earlier this year, tip-off 6PM. The Titans, who are 7-2 at home this season and last 5 home games determined by 3 points or less, look to win their last home game of season.

Hattachai Buttayotee led the Titans with 22 points on the night. Trevon Turner also added a double figure performance for Notre Dame, as he finished with 12 points.

Notre Dame will travel to North Adams on Tuesday evening. Game time is set for about 7:30 p.m.
